To Shave and Shave Not
Is it a sign of individuality? Have five shaven-head guys stand with their back to you. Can you tell them apart? No. So much for individuality. Is it fear of aging, with them in super denial about balding or having their hair turn gray that they feel compelled to whack it all off? I mean, granted, we are a LONG way from perfecting hair dyes for men, but still, shaving your head because of a graying or receding hairline is like cutting off your nose to spite your mustache.
I’m no fan of the comb-over, but at least these were people working with what they had. It strikes me has a very childish action to take; think about it, can’t you picture the guy saying to his scalp, “Fine, you wouldn’t let me have all my hair, I’m taking away all your hair! See how you like it!” And, yes, that’s a hair line crack.
