Before her death in 2020, Beverly Bonner was in the process of showing her self-produced and directed horror/comedy short film, "Steamed!" It was a return to her two entertainment roots; horror and stand-up comedy. It made that rounds at the film festivals where it perform to great acclaim. It was all during COVID, so she only got to attend one film festival in person and was touched by the reaction it got and how her fans enjoyed it. I'm happy to finally get to post the film here in glorious Vimeo-vision!

This horror/comedy film, STEAMED!, co-written by Beverly Bonner and Dan Fiorella, is Ms. Bonner’s debut as Executive Producer/Director of a film. Ms. Bonner, somewhat of a Cult Horror Film Icon, has appeared in all of Director Frank Henenlotter's films, and had a lead role as Casey his cult horror film classic, "Basket Case" and was featured in the two sequels. Mr. Henenlotter also makes an appearance in STEAMED!
STEAMED! follows Louise Campbell (played by Bonner), a take-no-sh!t stand- up comedian who can stand toe-to-toe with any challenge, be it hecklers, cheap club owners, nosy neighbors or crazy psychiatrists--any challenge, that is, except a green stalker with a LOT of balls. But she can’t just laugh it off when the bodies start piling up around her...It's a genre-bender, sorta film noir, mixing shocks & schtick, laughs & gasps, all filmed in glorious Black & White!
