Cracked took a bunch of my goofy movie titles and turned them into something just as goofy. I was always playing around with the idea of first drafts of movies, and pitched them the idea of movie pitches.
This humor is just south of puns. I got to reuse the title "High Noonish" for a Prairie Home Companion sketch later on. And "Planet of the Squirrels"? What was that about?
This change-one-word bit was kind of a lazy idea, yet it's the basis for hundreds of Twitter hashtag games these days. And, from what I remember, I just submitted the titles with the vaguest visual design (something I never really got the hang of) and the artist just went to town. And the fact that they came up with the little punchline of the guy pitching the bad concepts getting kicked out of the office was understated perfection.
