Into March, and the WGAe Activity Committee was putting some brakes on our attempts to write and re-shape the awards dinner. We decided to keep it more “traditional” and we'd drop in a couple of themed sketches (from Jay’s group) during the proceedings. Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson were set to host. Christopher Reeve would present a special award to Arthur Miller. So it was looking to be a great evening.
