Wedding in Wisconsin
A friends-out-of-water story: Some city buddies have to endure a hellish out-of-state wedding encountering indignities, lust, confusion, fights, the locals and cheese.
So say your friend, not a good friend, invites you to his wedding. And that wedding is out of town. Then to make sure you come, he announces you're to be in the wedding party. That's what happens when you get invited to a "Wedding in Wisconsin." It's loosely based on true events that happened to me, but weren't nearly as funny at the time.
About a year ago, at the wedding reception of David and Mary, the gang finds itself invited to the wedding of their pity-friend, Bill. No one actually wants to go, but since Bill once saved Dave's life, it's kind of required, come what may. And come May, Bill's getting married. Claire says they should go, it’ll be fun. Claire is very wrong.
