Island of Frankenstein
A rescue team finds itself on an island inhabited by the classic monsters of yore. Sort of "House of Frankenstein" meets "Jurassic Park."
So, say you’re NASA and you lose a satellite on re-entry. Naturally, you send out a retrieval team. But say it turns out your satellite full of cosmic energy landed on a remote island that happens to be inhabited by the public domain monsters of yore. That’s why my script is called “Island of Frankenstein,” sort of “House of Frankenstein” meets “Jurassic Park.”
NASA is once again probing the mysteries of space; a small satellite is orbiting earth to collect samples of cosmic radiation. But there's a malfunction and the satellite drops out of orbit somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle.
NASA sends one of its techies, Hal, and some cowboy helicopter pilots to locate it. They follow the signal to a mysterious, uncharted island. They find the satellite. And trouble. Turns out the island isn’t as uninhabited as thought. A mysterious Count Vladimir greets them. Then a crew member is killed. Suddenly, the remaining crew members are attacked by an invisible man, a monstrous Brit and the count, who turns out to be a vampire.
Another team must be assembled and sent in. There they find out what happened to all the monsters that seemed to disappear after the 1940s...
