Halloweenies

With Halloween coming, a young boy begins his quest for the perfect costume while dealing with school, decorating, backyard haunted houses, chores, neighborhood crazies, anti-Halloween zealots and dangerous counterfeiters.
So, say you're a 10 year old who loves Halloween, what's that about? Well, with Halloween coming, a young boy begins his quest for the perfect costume. It is a quest that brings him face-to-face with dangerous counterfeiters. Not to mention facing down a community ban on Halloween and a bunch of teens with eggs. That's "Halloweenies," sort of "A Christmas Story" meets "Home Alone," except with jack-o-lanterns.
Doug, a 10 year old, really enjoys Halloween. It's better than Christmas in his mind. He decorates his house just so. He enters the school pumpkin decoration contest. And he contemplates his costume for weeks. Until he sees a wicked costume based on his favorite horror movie, "Scary Knight." The costume costs over $50 and his parents aren't going to give him that much to spend. So he decides to earn the money...
