Death by Shakespeare
When a group of acting students come across the original manuscript of “MacBeth” they unleash an ancient Shakespearian curse which begins killing them off one by one.
You've heard about the curse on the play "Macbeth," right? But what happens when the original cursed manuscript shows up? It's been discovered buried deep in a vault on the legendry Oak Island by a daring millionaire, to be presented to a Shakespearian expert working at the near-by college. Once it shows up on campus, a group of drama students, alone on campus during spring break, face death, despair and bad reviews! Foul deeds will rise unless the doomed students figure out a way to break the curse and avoid “Death by Shakespeare.”
At Wilkes College, Julie is trying to organize a Shakespearian festival for the drama society. She manages to rope her jock boyfriend, Bart, and his dorm-mate, Max, into helping out. A small group of actors volunteer to stay on at the deserted campus over spring break to get some Shakespearian material on its feet. So, they practically live in the theater when the Bard's long-lost folio arrives on campus, damning them all (But not too damned, it's a horror story with a sense of humor about itself). Trapped in the theater the group must split up to find a way to break the curse, led by Max, the quirky writer, who must step up to fight the specter of the evil witch and her curse, since it was he who uttered the name "MacBeth" in the theater, bringing on the ancient curse . Their only hope is some theater lore to be tracked down and then return the manuscript to its charmed vault.
