Dan Fiorella

Odds and ends:
Truly, this show ran all night.  We had stand-up, we had student films, we had skits, and we had about 7 people in the audience.  Most of them relatives.
Ah, yes, in 1977, the student union gave each club a chance to do a window display.  We did "The PlagueGround, a amusement park parody.  We had the Vomit Ride, the Admission Booth, the Ticket Booth, the John Wilkes Booth, the Tunnel of Lust and more.  And I tried to capture the moment with my Kodak Instanmatic Camera.
Here it is touched up a bit:
I had borrowed several toy action figures from my place of employment, and had a Luke Skywalker figure attacking a Leya figure as their boat headed into the Tunnel of Lust.  But everyday, someone from NOW would reverse the figures and have Leya kicking Luke in the groin.  You have to understand a) it was a joke. b) The figures weren't supposed to be Luke and Leya and 3) It was before any of us knew they were brother and sister.  The tunnel was from my old train set and we added an iceberg, just because.  The Throw-Up ride was build with an old record player so it actually spun around.
